At Perfect 32, we are proud to offer specialist orthodontic services led by Mr. Trevor Hodge, a highly experienced consultant orthodontist and Honorary Professor at Leeds Dental Institute. With 20 years of expertise as a specialist and a passion for excellence, Mr. Hodge provides personalised care to each of his patients, ensuring optimal results. Trevor previously served the Beverley, Hull and East Yorkshire area for 14 years at Beverley Orthodontic Centre and is well known by his patients and dentists in the community as an established provider of specialist orthodontic care.

Since 2005, Trevor has served at the Leeds Dental Institute, specialising in cases with jaw discrepancies and cleft lip and palate, while providing postgraduate clinical training.

Trevor is an honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds with research interests spanning clinical and applied research, health services research, and dental education. His accolades include winning the MOrth Cases Prize in 2002 (awarded to the person showing the best clinical cases, judged on difficulty and clinical management), being one of only five UK-based orthodontists to achieve European Board accreditation, winning the British Orthodontic Society Maurice Berman Prize for Clinical Excellence twice, and receiving a World Federation of Orthodontists Regional Award of Merit in 2018.

The Perfect 32 Difference – Combining Cosmetic Dentistry with Orthodontics

At Perfect 32 we are able to utilise our extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry to treat teeth alongside orthodontic treatment, allowing us to deliver stunning results. For teeth that are worn down, short, or missing, we are able to reconstruct these alongside the orthodontic treatment to help rebuild a new smile. It is very common for teeth to need further cosmetic or ‘restorative’ treatment such as composite bonding, veneers, crowns or implants after braces; therefore it is important that the orthodontist providing the brace works closely alongside the dentist providing the restorative treatment. This puts Perfect 32 in a unique position in East Yorkshire, with restorative dentists working in the same practice as the specialist orthodontist. Our joint achievements were recognised when in 2024 Trevor won the coveted British Orthodontic Society’s ‘Against the Odds’ Award for the joint management of case together with the restorative dentistry team at Perfect 32, involving braces, implants, composite bonding, cosmetic gum surgery and whitening.

In addition to our specialist treatments, orthodontic treatment is also provided by our general dentists. Dr Annabelle Galloway and Dr Cheng Yeoh are qualified in providing fixed orthodontic appliances (currently sitting their Diploma in Fixed Orthodontic Appliances), and Dr Gagan Dhanjal is qualified in providing clear aligners (Diploma in Clear Aligner Treatments).

What are the different types of braces available?

At Perfect 32, we offer a range of brace treatments to cater for your needs. We offer crystal clear ceramic brackets, which allow for all the benefits of traditional brace systems, in a beautiful and discrete appliance; clear removable aligners (using Invisalign and Angel Aligner systems) which allow for gentle tooth movement in a barely visible way, 2D Lingual appliances, which offer the ultimate aesthetics in invisible orthodontic treatments, as well as traditional metal brackets, in both silver and gold options.
