We are looking for a part time dental therapist for our newly built 5 surgery modern dental practice in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
We are a young enthusiastic team, who love dentistry and provide a mix of treatment from routine dental care to complex cosmetic cases. We provide both NHS and private treatment, as well as accepting specialist referrals for Endodontics, Implants and Oral surgery. The premises was newly built and practice relocated in January 2019;
Beverley is 1 hour and 5 minutes from Leeds Centre and 20 minutes from Hull. It is an affluent market town and voted one the ‘Best places to Live’ in the Sunday Times 2019 list.
We would be looking for our Dental Therapist to support our dentist’s busy diaries by carrying out routine restorative work under the NHS and periodontal treatment (both NHS and private). You will also be involved in maintaining our patient’s implants, and providing treatment in joint periodontal cases with our specialists. We strive to provide the highest quality care for our patients, and to make the practice into East Yorkshire’s specialist referral centre.
Our therapists will have access to the latest in periodontal technology and equipment including GBT – we have 2 EMS Airflow/Perioflow units, one of which has an LED Piezon. All our other chairs have Satalec Ultrasonic scalers and we have ergoflex/ergosense handscalers. We would be delighted to invest in any equipment requested too! We are fully digital and have both iTero and CEREC intraoral scanners if impressions are required.

We are a very supportive team, and should you need help in any aspect of dentistry we will be happy to help. Currently all the members of the team help train our Foundation Dentist, we love to teach!
Due to the nature of this job, we would expect the ideal candidate to be enthusiastic, wanting to grow with the practice; it would be ideal if the candidate had some experience of restorative dentistry and be flexible with working hours.
